Actual project · Before and after
Replacement of a bathtub with a shower tray and shower screen
The initial image shows a built-in bathtub with wall-mounted taps and ceramic tiling. The work transformed that area into a more accessible shower, adapting the drain and connections before installing a low-profile white shower tray and a glass shower screen.

Completed projects
- Removal of the bathtub and preparation of the recess
- Adaptation of the water supply connection and drain
- Levelling and waterproofing of the shower area
- Installation of a low-profile white shower tray
- Replacement of tiling in the work area
- Fitting of the glass shower screen and sealing of joints
Final result
The bathtub made way for a spacious shower with easier access. The continuous shower tray makes daily use easier, while the transparent screen maintains the light and protects the rest of the bathroom from splashes.
Actual project · Before and after
Bathtub-to-shower tray conversion in a bathroom with a marble finish
This renovation turns the former bathtub area into a spacious, bright shower. The first image shows the work in progress: setting out with a tape measure, large-format marble-effect veined tiling underway, plumbing connections prepared and floor protection in place before installing the shower tray. The tiling then extends across the walls and floor, creating a continuous, elegant look that is easy to maintain without sacrificing everyday functionality.

Completed projects
- Removal of the bathtub and adaptation of the space
- Installation of a white non-slip shower tray
- Adaptation of the taps, shower and drain
- Coordinated ceramic tiling with a marble-effect finish
- Fitting of a fixed transparent glass shower screen
- Installation of grab rails to improve comfort and safety
- Integration of ceiling lighting
Final result
The space feels larger thanks to the transparent shower screen and the light tones of the tiling. The low-profile shower tray makes access easier, while the grab rails, wall-mounted taps and even lighting create a comfortable, safe and carefully finished bathing area.
Actual project · Installation phase
Fitting concealed shower controls in a shower with large-format marble-effect tiling
The image shows the stage before handover: the large-format marble-effect veined ceramic tiles are already in place on the walls and floor, and a BAF Reformas technician is adjusting the concealed shower valves before fitting the final trim plate. In the same space, the opening for the ventilation system, the flush plate for the concealed cistern, the prepared plumbing outlets and the shower screen with gold-coloured framing already installed can be seen.

Completed projects
- Setting out and laying large-format ceramic tiles on walls and floor
- Preparation of the plumbing outlets and shower drain
- Installation of the concealed mechanism and cistern flush plate
- Adjustment and checking of the concealed shower controls before fitting the trim plate
- Fitting of the shower screen with gold-coloured framing
- Provision for ventilation and recessed lighting points
Final result
This phase demonstrates our orderly approach to work: aligned tiling, properly installed concealed services and checks on every water connection before fitting the final finishes. The result is a seamless bathroom, with no visible access panels and ready for daily use.

Frequently asked questions about bathrooms
What does a bathtub-to-shower tray conversion include?
It normally includes removal of the bathtub, adaptation of the drain and water supply connections, preparation and waterproofing of the base, installation of the shower tray, replacement of tiling, sealing and fitting of the agreed shower screen and taps.
Can the tiling in the rest of the bathroom be kept?
Yes, when it is in good condition. The work can be limited to the bathtub area, finding compatible tiles for the sections left exposed.
How is water prevented from escaping the shower?
The shower tray is checked for level and drainage, the joints are sealed and a shower screen is installed to suit the opening and the type of door.
Does all the plumbing need to be replaced?
Not always. We inspect the existing water supply connections and drain and replace only what is necessary, unless the condition of the installation calls for more extensive work.
Do you also carry out complete bathroom renovations?
Yes. We can coordinate demolition, plumbing, electrical work, wall tiling, flooring, sanitaryware, furniture, lighting and painting within a single renovation.
