BAF Reformas team installing wood flooring

Flooring, wall tiling and paving on the Costa del Sol

We install flooring and wall coverings in homes, apartments, villas and commercial premises, paying attention to levelling, setting out and finishing details, which is where the quality of a floor really shows.

What we offer

The floor is the surface that is seen and used the most: proper setting out avoids awkward cuts, misaligned joints and uneven levels.

  • Porcelain and ceramic tile flooring
  • Wood-effect and large-format flooring
  • Parquet, wood flooring and laminate flooring
  • Microcement
  • Bathroom and kitchen wall tiling
  • Outdoor paving for terraces and porches

Laying terrazzo tiles in an entrance area

The images show the renovation of the flooring in a corridor and its entrance during the installation phase. After preparing the substrate, the BAF team lays out the grey terrazzo tiles along the centreline of the route and checks each piece to achieve a continuous, stable and well-aligned surface.

Completed projects

  • Inspection and cleaning of the existing substrate
  • Preparation of the base for the new flooring
  • Setting out the tiles from the entrance and along the centreline of the corridor
  • Even application of the bonding material
  • Orderly laying of the grey terrazzo tiles
  • Checking alignment, joints and level with a straightedge
  • Cuts and adjustments at junctions, doors and sides
  • Preparation of perimeter finishing details

Final result

Installation in stages keeps the terrazzo pattern aligned along the corridor and allows flatness to be checked before moving on. The grey flooring provides durability for a frequently used passageway and a clean, uniform appearance. The photographs document the work in progress, before grouting and final finishing.

Frequently asked questions about flooring

Can new flooring be laid over the existing floor?

In some cases, yes, if the substrate is firm, level and the height allows it. We assess this during the visit, as it affects doors and junctions.

What flooring is best for a home near the sea?

Porcelain flooring, including wood-effect tiles, performs very well in humid conditions and under heavy use. Natural wood requires more maintenance in a marine environment.

Can you tile the bathroom and kitchen as part of the same project?

Yes, and this is standard practice: we coordinate tiling with plumbing and electrical work to avoid later corrections.

How long does flooring installation take?

It depends on the area, the condition of the substrate and the material. We provide an estimated timeframe after the technical visit.
